ETF (Exchange-traded fund)
An ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) is a type of investment fund that holds a basket of stocks, bonds, or other assets and can be bought and sold on a stock exchange, just like regular stocks. 📈
They offer diversification and usually track a specific market index or sector.
For example, the "Tech Titans ETF" might hold shares of Apple, Microsoft, Google, and other leading tech companies 🖥️ letting you invest in the entire tech sector with just one purchase.
Fun fact: The first ETF was launched in 1993, and it tracked the S&P 500 Index. 🌟 Today, there are thousands of ETFs covering everything from emerging markets to clean energy, making it easier than ever to invest in a wide range of industries and themes! 🌍🌿
