Fixed income

Fixed income refers to investments that pay a steady, predictable stream of interest or dividends to investors. 💰

Τhese investments typically include bonds, preferred stocks, and other debt instruments. The term "fixed" comes from the fact that the income received remains constant over time, unlike stocks, where dividends can vary.

An example of a fixed income investment is a 10-year government bond, which pays a fixed interest rate every year until it matures. 📈

Fun fact: The fixed income market is gigantic! It's actually larger than the stock market, with an estimated global value of over $100 trillion. 😮 Governments and corporations rely on fixed income instruments to raise capital and finance their projects.
